The idea was inspired by Little Free Libraries. Hapeville, designated a Home for the Arts, realized we needed to take this same idea but apply it to art, creating designated public spaces for artists to leave small works to be found by the lucky public!
These boxes can be anything you can imagine, either something repurposed or completely built from scratch! We ask that the boxes be somewhere between mailbox and mini fridge size, but we are open to designs of all shapes and sizes! Let your creativity flow!
To be considered, please submit a detailed design proposal in the following form. Selected artists will receive $500.
Deadline to submit proposals is Sunday August 23.
