For years "A Christmas Carol" has shared its timeless message of redemption and the spirit of Christmas. This December at Hapeville Elementary School follow the magical journey of Ebenezer Scrooge, the lonely miser who discovers joy, generosity, and the spirit of the season. With ghosts, carolers, live music, and Charles Dickens himself The Academy Theatre is kicking off the Holiday Season with a show the whole family will love.
Lynna Schmidt, director of "A Christmas Carol" says, "This is a lovely, family friendly production. We hope you will join this outstanding cast as we celebrate the holiday season and learn what the true meaning of Christmas is for Mr. Scrooge. Happy Holidays from our family to yours."
This is Academy Theatre’s second annual presentation of Schmidt’s adaptation. Most of the beloved cast from last year’s show will be returning to the stage, including Dan Brown, who plays Charles Dickens and Bob Cratchit, and Steve Martin, who plays Ebenezer Scrooge.
“I’m excited to be back! This is going to be a fun, festive show!”, says Brown.
