On September 16, 2015 Google announced that it has opened a 24,000 sq.ft. customer service training facilityin south metro Atlanta, the Google Fiber Academy. According to a Google Blog post, "As Google Fiber grows, our mission is to keep our customer service standards high across all of our Fiber cities."
Google Fiber Vendors will travel to the facility to learn techniques for fiber installation and to receive customer service training.
