Hapeville is Proud to be Part of the Atlanta Aerotropolis Board

Hapeville joined metro Atlanta government and business leaders on March 28, 2014 at the first official Atlanta Aerotropolis Alliance Board Meeting in an effort to spur economic development around Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

This was the first Official Meeting of a group that has been forming out of several Airport Area Task Force Meetings convened in recent years by the Atlanta Regional Commission and other interested parties in the airport area.

Atlanta Aerotropolis Alliance
The Atlanta Aerotropolis Alliance (the Alliance) will work to leverage the economic potential created by Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The Alliance consists of busineses, local governments, and other stakeholders located within or with a vested interest in the greater airport area. Working with existing organizations and efforts, the Alliance will coordinate economic development, strategic planning, and other cross-discipline and cross-jurisdiction issues.

Members of the Alliance include the airport, Clayton and Fulton counties, and the cities of College Park, Hapeville and East Point, and the Metro Atlanta, Clayton County, South Fulton and Airport Area chambers of commerce.
