The Hapeville Main Street Program is proud to announce a small business entrepreneur training opportunity: February 25th & 26th!
The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) of the University of Georgia is teaming up with the Georgia Main Street Program Cities to offer a selection of courses tailored just for small businesses entrepreneurs-for only $25/day!
During the upcoming “Community Development Institute,” a week-long Department of Community Affairs training week at the Douglasville Conference Center in Douglasville, GA, small business owner training is available on Tuesday, February 25th and Wednesday, February 26th.
Tuesday, February 25th:
SBDC Basics (8-8:45 AM): An introductory course to meet key SBDC staff and learn about the resources available to small businesses.
SBDC Maximum Marketing (9-9:45AM): A course focused on small business basic marketing principals and creating actionable marketing plans.
SBDC Maximum Contact (10-10:45AM): Social Media beginners course geared for small business.
SBDC Maximum Money (2-2:45PM): Intro to money management: managing cash, reading financial statements.
SBDC Maximum People (3-3:45PM): Employee talent attraction, hiring, legal compliance and “problem” employees topics are covered.
SBDC Maximum Retail (4-5PM): Maximize marketing efforts, minimize theft, increase sales, on-line/off-line marketing integration.
Wednesday, February 26th:
SBDC Maximum Service Compressed Course (8AM – 4PM): Part of the Maximum Impact Series this full day course focuses on exceptional customer service. Learn how to create a culture of superb customer service to build a better business environment.
