Omicron Phi Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. hosts the groundbreaking Economic Development Summit featuring 5 mayors from the Metro Atlanta area. The 90 minute virtual event via Zoom is on Friday, June 11th starts at 11:30AM and features Alan Hallman of Hapeville, Vince Williams of Union City, Bianca Motley Broom of College Park, William "Bill" Edwards of South Fulton and Deana Holiday-Ingraham of East Point.
The leaders will discuss strategies to foster business and economic development in their respective cities as well as share upcoming projects and priorities.
"As a chapter, Omicron Phi Lambda has other initiatives in store, including Economic Development Tours planned for each city for citizens, as well as the recently launched Digital Black Book, which is an application and website that makes it convenient to support Black-owned businesses in the South Atlanta Metro."
