All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in Land Lot 96 of the 14th Land District of Fulton County, Georgia, also described as 3609 South Central Avenue, Hapeville, Georgia, bearing Tax Identification Number 14 009600050209.

The sealed bids shall be submitted to the City via certified mail, return receipt requested, in a sealed envelope with the words "SEALED BID FOR TAX PARCEL14 009600050209" clearly marked on the outside. The sealed bid envelopes shall be received via certified mail, return receipt requested, by the City no later than Friday, May 27, 2022. For those submitting a sealed bid, such persons or entities may obtain a Sealed Bid Form, a survey of the property, an appraisal of the property, and all other written materials connected with the proposed sale at Hapeville City Hall located at 3648 North Fulton Avenue, in Hapeville, Georgia. The sealed bids will be opened at Hapeville City Hall in the conference room located on the first floor, on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. The minimum acceptable price is $183,700.00. Submitted proposals must include a proposed site plan for the use of the Property incorporating at least one adjoining parcel, and information showing permission or control regarding the use of such adjoining property. The proposed plan and use of the Property must be consistent with the City of Hapeville's Comprehensive Plan, the 2017 LCI Plan, and all of the City of Hapeville's ordinances. The Property must be accepted "AS IS" and with a full release of the City from liability for any reason whatsoever.
Once the highest responsible bidder is officially accepted by the Mayor and Council at a regularly scheduled meeting, the closing transaction shall occur at the law office of Smith, Welch, Webb and White, located at 2200 Keys Ferry Court, McDonough, Georgia. The closing shall take place within ninety (90) days from the date that the City Council accepts the bid. All costs associated with closing shall be paid by the highest responsible bidder. The closing shall be by cash sale only. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to cancel any proposed sale for any reason whatsoever.
