When an emergency occurs, the City of Hapeville uses multiple channels to relay information to the community. Below are the significant channels we use to communicate with you.
One of these channels is the City's website at www.Hapeville.org or the City App "MyHapevilleGA."
During severe weather, an emergency notification bar will display urgent information along the top of each page on the City's website. If the situation warrants (such as a significant snow event), the website's Home page will serve as a dedicated source for emergency information.
Social Media in Emergency Situations
The City of Hapeville uses social media outlets, particularly Facebook and Instagram, to provide real-time updates. Follow us on Instagram and like our Facebook page to stay connected.
The Hapeville Police Department also shares essential information on its Facebook and Instagram pages, and the Hapeville Fire Department maintains an active presence on Facebook.
