Groundbreaking of the Hapeville Public Library (November 2019)
ChickFil A Dwarf House
Project Status: Approved
Brief Description: Dwarf House Group has made proposal to redevelop the Chick-fil-A located at 461 North Central Avenue. Recorded meeting of November 10, 2020 proposal available in Agenda Link below.
397 North Central Avenue 
Project Status: Proposed
Brief Description: To construct a mixed-use multifamily development at the property bounded by N. Central Avenue, LaVista Drive,
Sunset Avenue and King Arnold Street.
Project Status: Approved
Brief description: Proposal to construct a 23-unit townhome development at 3165 Dogwood Drive. This project consist of three story, three building with 3-4 bedrooms and two car garage.
Porsche Announces Atlanta Service Center HQ Expansion
Phased project will start with construction of the Porsche Service Center South Atlanta, followed by a Porsche Classic Factory Restoration facility, and a Porsche Experience Center Atlanta track extension
Project Status: Approved
Brief Description: Site plan from Steven Ellis on behalf of PRO Building Systems, Inc, to develop a specialty auto service center and repair facility as a component of Porsche Cars of North America's corporate campus concept on Porsche Avenue.
Hapeville Public Library Renovation 
Project Status: Approved
Brief Description: The Hapeville Library will close on Monday, October 7 at 6 p.m. to prepare for new building construction.
591 King Arnold Street 
Project Status: Approved
Brief Description: The Myrtle Garden will include 18-unit town-homes to be located on King Arnold Street by Office of Design.
The Landing at Virginia Park 
Project Status: Complete
Brief Description: The Landing at Virginia Park begins construction of a townhome by the VC1 and Fisher Allen Group (rekast LLC).
Towne Place Suites 
Project Status: Approved
Brief Description: Construction of a 112-room, 7-story, 9,350-square foot Towne Place Hotel located at 3424 Norman Berry Drive.
Embassy Suites Hotel - 3399 International Boulevard 
Project Status: Approved
Brief Description: Construction of a 174-room, 156,900-square foot; Modern hotel with 2 pools and restaurant, located within a half-mile of Hartsfield - Jackson Atlanta International Airport and the Airport MARTA Station.
RaceTrac Gas Station - 1180 Virginia Avenue 
Project Status: Complete
Brief Description: 156,900-square foot; RaceTrac's opens its 500th store in Hapeville. RaceTrac Petroleum plans to construct a convenience market and fueling facility.
Demolition/Future Restaurant - 816 South Central Avenue 
Project Status: Construction Pending
Brief Description: Demolition of the existing 994-square foot building and construction of a 2,918-square foot full service restaurant with outside dining.
Mixed Use Commercial/Retail - 925 Virginia Avenue 
Project Status: Complete
Brief Description: Construction of a 22,000-square foot mixed use commercial/retail building
Smoothie King Renovation - 876 Virginia Avenue 
Project Status: Complete
Brief Description: Renovation of an existing commercial building for a Smoothie King restaurant and one tenant space.
Luxury Brand Kimpton Hotel Two Porsche Drive 
Project Status: Complete

Excerpt from the Kimpton (formerly known as Solis) Hotel Group Official Press Release: "The City of Hapeville is so pleased to see this world-class project moving forward. We have worked diligently, with the ACRON development team and with our partner, the Hapeville Development Authority, to see this day become a reality. This project represents major progress for our community. As we embark on 2016, Hapeville's Commemorative 125th year, this project symbolizes many new possibilities on the horizon for our community," said Mayor Alan Hallman, City of Hapeville, Georgia

Corner Tavern & Tren Loco 
Project Status: Construction Pending
Rabb Family, City of Hapeville & Hapeville Development Authority partnership.
Groundbreaking took place September 10, 2016. Expected to open Early 2017 as Corner Tavern and Tren Loco restaurants; a $1.5M Project at Dearborn Plaza on North Central Avenue. Two new restaurants in downtown Hapeville! The first building will be a 6,500 square-foot, two-story building with a brick façade. It will be built in a style similar to the surrounding historic buildings of the area. The first floor will house a Corner Tavern restaurant with the second floor serving as the new corporate headquarters for the company.
The second restaurant will be Tren Loco, a taqueria and a new concept for the company. The building will be a 2,000 square-foot L-shaped structure built partially from repurposed shipping containers. There will be space for outdoor dining along North Central Avenue in front of the Corner Tavern and an additional large courtyard for outdoor dining located between the two restaurants.
